Some character development for Manabu but in this whole ep he was way so cringe (0 x 0)

There is no character development when a character that literally got degraded for no reason returns to normal. He is not developed, his character got ruined and clowned on and hopefully writers decided enough is enough and returned him to normal

i see that is true at least we can see that found a way to beat that field spell and fusion by using a combo he did with a new equip for his phoenix maximum and also a legend card shop that anyone can buy which makes this episode for me 5/10

also, Gakuto from SEVENS was also ruined, but not as bad as Go and Manabu, when Gakuto used Gakuting against Neil, Rinnosuke told him that he humiliated the Sogetsu name and style so Gakuto returned to his Sogetsu style and when Gakuto lost his memories and he was strict to the rules, Rinnosuke had a rush duel against him and he told him that sometimes he needs to breaks the rules and have fun just like his ancestor, Gakugen, humiliated himself in order to prevent a battle/war that he would lose.

Ah yes exactly what we needed. Ruining Manabu’s character just to make Zwijo look better and then reducing him to a butler just so that he can’t matter for the rest of the season (not to mention his entire inside spy role did not mean shit) wasn’t enough so they decided to take away the rest of what was left from Manabu’s character as well.

He was one of my favorite characters but they ruined him for no reason and CONTINUED to do so here as well instead of leaving the damage with that terrible episode alone. Someone should tell these writers that degrading a character and then returning them to normal later is NOT character development because they pull this garbage so much.

Also if we were gonna have Manabu duel someone to return to normal NYANDESTAR is RIGHT THERE, their relationship is already established and good so she could have be the one to pull him back but NO. This random fish dude had to be the one so the episode can be literally worthless. There are shit ton of Filler episodes that matters more than this, this episode might not have existed and NOTHING would have changed. The writing really hit the bottom of the barrel since the previous arc finale

i'm pretty sure his being made into a butler is part of the reason why he got like this and he would have been better off being carded & turned into a cat for a while.
even more so if he had gotten turned into a cat like how nyandestar was instead of being stuck in the abnormal subspace the rest of the carded/cats where while building back the trust he had lost to most of the main cast being a bunch of idiots. thats the real reason why this is called "go rush", most of the cast tends to go and jump the gun...

Most of this is correct... There is one thing this episode establishes though, something important too. How Manabu get's enough points to make it to the Galaxy cup Finals. It's perhaps the worst way to do it, but it is a important story key.

No it is not. They don’t need to explain how each person got enough points. Manabu should be capable enough to make it to the finals so there is no need for an episode just to show how he got enough point. And If there really was a need then a quick flash of him beating a bunch of people is more than enough, they are not gonna establish how everyone made it to the finals because there is no need

I'm not gonna' argue that there are a bunch of ways to do it better (like a quick flash) But I will say if the only thing we see him do this season is work at Myuuda's food stand, it would be quite jarring to magically see him in the finals.

Why? I understand this entire episode only show's why Manabu get's enough points to make it to the Galaxy Cup Finals. I'm fine with him picking on children and elderly (as if you're in it, you're in it to duel) in the tournament, but to play that like it some kind of cowardly act to progress some nefarious plot does no one any favors. If you just jobbed out some children who were inspired/respected him and elderly who see his potential it would work just fine. They would still follow him just on a more mutual basis except Myuuda who he's just getting revenge on at this point. And all that would work. Moreover you'd get actually deep lore about the Sogetsu family in the duel rather than a cheap 1-off joke that they couldn't even be bothered to write a follow up to. Wow, talk about taking the wrong path to the right destination.

1st time I felt a 5/10 review mid here that the only thing good of the episode for me is the dueling capabilities of manabu using a different of using his maximum instead of powering up and it attacked directly to his relative which has an anti maximum fish monster deck in a way and also that CARD shop that shows all the nice old legend cards of the past which is good.

Rush Duel boosters only have 5 cards in them? Man, the cast is getting swindled hard.

Manabu's whole "character arc" was really shitty, boring and cringe writing, at least it looks like he's back to normal now.

I think letting them keep the Maximums after carded people were free was really unnecessary.

Maguto has Myuki's Shirogane's voice actor, Nanami from SEVENS is also voiced by him.
also, dont tell me Yuhi's gonna lose to Epoch next episode.
